I'll let it do all 195 or so updates, and when it's finished it has all drivers except chipset on restart. I usually start by downloading the network adapter driver to a USB from another computer, install on the new computer, and give it a restart before doing Windows Updates. Windows 7 the computer has almost no drivers except generic, so it's in 800圆00 resolution with no network connectivity and no chipset drivers.

Unfortunately this is not the case with the 7020 models.īy default, after re-imaging, the display adapter shows the Video Garaphics controller which fails installing. Normally, I would go to dell website and put in the service tag of the tower and download the missing drivers and it would work fine. I have re-imaged imaged this optiplex 7020 from the standard image that we have at work.
